Biography
I am a doctoral student working towards a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. My clinical interests include anxiety and trauma. My previous work experience has driven home that anxiety is a ubiquitous concern, relief from which can be profoundly life-changing.
In building a working relationship, I aim to help empower clients in their sense of agency and ownership over their mental health struggles. I value directness and humor as building blocks towards authentic connection both inside and outside of the therapy room.
My professional background includes a degree in English from Haverford College in Haverford, PA and a Post-Baccalaureate in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University. I have trained at the National Runaway Safeline, the Professional Psychology Clinic at the University of Denver, the Sturm Center Military Clinic at the University of Denver, and Mt. Carmel Veteran’s Service Center.
I also conduct assessments for VA disability claims through the Sturm Center. I was born and raised in Chicago and, quite frankly, I’m not outdoorsy enough to live here! In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my mastiff, and watching football. The Chicago Bears have taught me patience and resilience in the face of constant disappointment.
