Biography
I am a clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of Denver’s Graduate
School of Professional Psychology. Before pursuing psychology, I earned my bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration and worked in management at Amazon Logistics.
While I valued my experience in the corporate world, I ultimately realized that I wanted
to pursue work that felt more deeply connected to my values: helping people reduce
suffering, build resilience, and create more meaningful lives.
One of the most rewarding parts of being a clinician is having the opportunity to sit
alongside someone during a difficult chapter of their life and witness their growth. I
believe that meaningful change does not mean eliminating every difficult thought or
emotion, but learning how to navigate challenges in a way that allows us to move
toward the life we want.
My doctoral training has given me experience working with individuals across a range of
concerns and backgrounds. Before coming to Anxiety Solutions, I provided therapy as a practicum trainee at Counseling and Psychological Services at CU Boulder, where I worked with college students. I have also completed specialized training in neuropsychological assessment and have provided therapy to children and adolescents, including neurodivergent youth. Through this work, I have taught social and emotional skills using the UCLA PEERS model. Additionally, I have experience providing gender-affirming care to individuals navigating gender-related concerns.
I have experience providing both individual and group therapy and am especially
passionate about working with individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. I
strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, and able
to bring their whole selves into the room. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand what matters most to you, and work together to develop the skills and insight needed to move toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
What would your clients say about you as a therapist?
My therapeutic style is rooted in authenticity, humor, and genuine connection. I
aim to create a genuine space of connection where clients feel free to show up
authentically and completely as themselves.
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
I do, but I’m definitely not guilty about it! I love reality TV, and I have a chocolate
obsession. Reeces cups, cookies, cake, brownies – I love it all.
What is your dream vacation?
Any place tropical! I grew up in Southern California and spent my weekends at
the ocean, so I’d love to go anywhere with a beach where I can swim.
