Biography
Hi, I’m Christine! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology
from Oregon State University, and I’m currently in my second year of the Doctor of Psychology program at the University of Denver. I’m supervised by Dr. Michael Stein, which means I regularly review my cases with him to ensure I’m providing thoughtful, ethical, and effective care.
I was drawn to this work because of the opportunity to connect with people on a deep and
meaningful level. I enjoy supporting people as they navigate challenges, explore new
perspectives, and move toward their personal goals. Seeing that transformation unfold is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have a 3-year-old dog named Sitka. He’s both my adventure partner and my go-to companion for cozy, laid-back days. We spend a lot of time exploring outside and just enjoying each other’s company.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Sitka, whether we’re out exploring
or simply relaxing together. I’m almost always listening to a podcast or audiobook, which is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I also enjoy playing pickleball, getting lost in a good (physical) book, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Portland, Oregon, but I moved to Kauai, Hawaii when I was 11 years old.
Since then, I’ve gone back and forth between Oregon and Kauai throughout my life, living in
both places at different times. Both locations have shaped who I am in meaningful ways.
