Biography
My professional background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Denver, earned in 2021, and a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the same institution, also earned in 2024. I am currently enrolled in the University of Denver’s doctoral program in Clinical Psychology, where I have completed externships at the National Institute for Change (2024-2025) and the University of Wyoming Supervision Incentive Research Study at Denver Adult Probation (2022-present).
I am supervised by Dr. Michael Stein. Consistent supervision means that I review all of my cases with the founder and co-owner of Anxiety Solutions of Denver, who will provide guidance on how to most effectively conduct treatment for each of my clients.
What’s your go-to comfort show or movie?
Whether I need a laugh or just something familiar in the background, Below Deck never fails. If I were not in training to be a psychologist, I’d love to be sailing at sea (but without the drama!)
What’s a quote or idea that sticks with you in your work?
“Nothing changes if nothing changes.” It’s simple, but it reminds me that even the smallest shifts can open the door to something new, and that progress often starts with just one courageous step.
What do you like to do to have fun?
I love to engage in flow arts including hula hooping off the body! Flowstar, spinning poi, and dragonstaff are other fun flow toys I like to experiment with.
What interests you about this work?
I love getting to see what changes people are capable of making, that they once never thought they could experience. It may take time, but looking back and seeing how we have grown can be way more fun than instant gratification!
